Centennial Essay & Poster Contest

Centennial Essay & Poster Contest

Essay Winner - Annie Walker, 3rd Grade - Mockingbird Elementary
My Friend Tietze

When I was little I learned to walk,
Ride, run, swim and talk.
I always climb the lazy trees,
It was hysterical when my friend went sneeze!
I’ll never stop loving this park,
I love the texture of the bark!
Once I got to plant a tree,
My mom named it after me!
When I go with all my friends,
We stay and play until the end!

-I love you, Tietze!
